When the task involves safely transferring toxic, dangerous, and WHC goods, the Fristam FSM Magnetically Coupled Pumps prove especially effective. These pumps are crafted with specific safety requirements in mind. Their open impeller connects to the driving unit via a magnetic coupling, ensuring contact-free operation. This design creates a product space hermetically sealed from the environment by a separating can. Additionally, when used as a shear pump, the Fristam FSM Pump incorporates a rotor-stator combination that produces high-quality, homogenised multiphase products.

Specific Construction

The pump’s power is transmitted from the drive shaft contact-free via magnetic coupling. This ensures that the pump’s speed always corresponds to the drive speed. Thanks to the special bearings of the magnetic coupling’s internal rotor, only the drive speed is transmitted to the drive shaft, avoiding any undesirable forces.
