Fristam Pumps India at Pharma Pro & Pack Expo 2026

Pharma Pro & Pack Expo 2026 ran at HITEX, Hyderabad, from 9 to 11 July. Hyderabad hasn’t hosted a bigger pharma processing and packaging show than this one. Packaging machinery, processing equipment, cleanroom setups, turnkey projects and water treatment systems shared the same floor this year. Three days, many halls, a lot of ground to cover.
Fristam Pumps India goes to regional exhibitions to get closer to customers in specific markets, instead of waiting for them to show up. Hyderabad is one of the country’s biggest pharma manufacturing hubs. That made Pharma Pro & Pack the right stage to build a direct presence there. The team booked a 77 sq. m. stall in Hall No. 5, they used all three days to demonstrate the pharma fluid handling hygienic pumps range in front of buyers, consultants and OEMs.

What Made This Edition Worth Attending

Pharma Pro & Pack isn’t limited to one stage of the line, and that’s what made the floor useful this time. Here’s what stood out:
  • One of Hyderabad’s biggest pharma shows. Manufacturers, fluid equipment suppliers and technology providers all turned up on one floor, and the crowd size proved the claim.
  • Packaging machinery, processing equipment and cleanroom solutions filled the same hall this year. Buyers could walk from a packaging demo straight into a cleanroom conversation without leaving the building.
  • Turnkey projects and water treatment showed up as well, stretching the floor past individual machines into full plant-level talks.
  • People weren’t just browsing the aisles. Most conversations at the stall started with a real problem someone needed solved.

What Fristam Brought to the Floor

Three parts of Fristam’s pharma range anchored the stall. Each one covers a different point on the line.
  1. FPV Centrifugal Pump: The centerpiece of the stall was the FPV Centrifugal Pump. Fristam showed it here with its newer sealing options, a C-cooling variant and a diamond seal variant. Both are built for hygienic, sterile applications. Buyers need this for Water for Injection (WFI), purified water, RO water and high-temperature pharmaceutical liquids. A seal failure in these lines isn’t a minor fix. It’s a contamination event, and that changes how a plant has to respond. The pump comes in 14 sizes with flow rates up to 550 m³/h. Every part carries a documented, traceable manufacturing history too, and that’s something buyers check almost as closely as the specs.
  2. Mixing and Blending Range:Fristam also showed its mixing and blending line for pharma use: the Powder Induction Mixer, FSP Shear Mixer, FCM Colloid Mixer and PE Powder Intake. These machines cover the wet-and-dry blending step that comes before most pharma production lines start. Dissolving, emulsifying, homogenizing- all of it in one hygienic build. It’s easy to maintain and fits into an automated feed system without much fuss.
  3. FZ Liquid Ring True Self-Priming Pump: The team also walked buyers through the FZ True Self Priming Liquid Ring Pump. It’s built for CIP return work and for clearing tanks and lines carrying high-gas or thick, viscous products. The design is reversible and symmetric, and the side-channel construction gives it enough suction to clear a line completely, with no airlocking. That detail matters more than it sounds when a line is switching between products or about to run a clean-in-place cycle.

Hyderabad’s Pull for Pharma Manufacturers

Hyderabad’s location put the Fristam team in front of key buyers, decision-makers and global partners, and none of them had to travel far to get there. It isn’t an arbitrary choice of city. Hyderabad leads India in bulk drug manufacturing and ranks third nationally for formulation manufacturing under regulatory compliance.
More than 2,500 pharma companies operate out of the city. The industry there is worth an estimated USD 1.6 billion, with exports past USD 500 million. And there’s talk of Hyderabad becoming a “green pharma city” in the next few years, a shift expected to pull in more investment and jobs. For a company building its presence market by market, that mix of scale and specificity is hard to find anywhere else in India.

Key Outcomes from Three Days in Hyderabad

Pharma Pro & Pack 2026 gave Fristam Pumps India three days on a floor built exactly for this kind of evaluation. The FPV pump’s sealing technology, the FZ Liquid Ring Pump and the full mixing and blending line all got real engagement from buyers working on live projects. The team walked away with more than 90 leads. A fresh set of requirements came out of it too, spanning new applications including biotechnology, all feeding into the next round of conversations.
Fristam continues to expand its pharma pump range and plans to stay close to the manufacturing hubs where its customers operate. Reach out to the team through the website for more on the products shown at the expo: www.fristam.in
